newly synthesized protein exits from the ribosome it and the ribosome are
bound by SRP (signal recognition particle) and targeted to the translocon
(Sec61 complex) via an interaction with the SRP receptor(SRa,
SRb).

proteins with tail-anchors including Sec61 b
and g, Vamp proteins, and
the Bcl-2
family of proteins that regulate apoptosis.
